All MEXC Earn products carry different risk profiles. Flexible savings on major stablecoins are relatively low risk. High-APY products for small-cap tokens carry significant price risk beyond just the yield. Flexible Savings is MEXC's most accessible earn product. There is no lock-up period — you can deposit and withdraw at any time. Interest accrues daily and is credited to your account each day. To access Flexible Savings: go to "Earn" then "Savings" and toggle to "Flexible". Browse available assets and their current APY rates. Click "Subscribe" on your chosen asset, enter the amount, and confirm. The funds immediately start earning interest. You can add to your savings position at any time, and redemption requests are processed within 24 hours.

USDT flexible savings rates have historically ranged between 4%-12% APY depending on market conditions. During bull markets with high demand for margin borrowing, rates tend to be higher. During bear markets, rates may drop to 1%-3%. The rate you see when subscribing can change daily.

Locked Staking offers higher APY rates in exchange for committing your assets for a fixed duration — typically 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 days. During the lock period, you cannot access your staked assets. In exchange, the yield is guaranteed at the rate displayed when you subscribe, regardless of any rate changes during the lock period.

Locked staking is available for many cryptocurrencies on MEXC. Rates vary significantly by asset and duration. Staking MX tokens (MEXC's native token) in locked products often provides some of the highest available yields, as MEXC incentivizes MX holding through elevated staking rewards.

Before locking funds in staking, consider the lock-up period carefully in relation to market conditions. If crypto prices are volatile, being unable to sell or move your assets for 30-90 days carries opportunity cost and potential loss of value beyond just the yield earned. Stablecoins like USDT are more suitable for locked staking during uncertain market conditions since their value remains stable.

MX DeFi is MEXC's yield farming product for MX token holders.
